Wizards (1982)

New Year's musical comedy "Wizards" is based on the script by the Strugatsky brothers. Ivan Pukhov (Alexander Abdulov) must rescue his bewitched beloved Alena Sanina (Alexandra Yakovleva), who works at the Institute of Magic (NUINU). The film is a Soviet two‑part comedy directed by Konstantin Bromberg, adapted from Arkady and Boris Strugatsky’s story "Monday Begins on Saturday" and filmed at the Odesa Film Studio in 1982.
