World leaders break silence on US-Iran strikes #breakingnews #usiranwar #iranisraelwar #donaldtrump #usmilitary Global leaders have begun reacting to the intensifying conflict between the U.S., Iran, and Israel, as the region reels from days of escalating airstrikes and military exchanges. Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian condemned what he called “American complicity” in Israeli attacks, saying Washington would bear responsibility for “every Iranian life lost.” He reiterated Iran’s claim that its strikes were in self-defence, and called for “urgent international action” to stop Israel’s bombing campaign. Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida urged “maximum restraint” from all parties, warning that the conflict could spiral into a broader regional war. “Japan calls for an immediate halt to hostilities and supports diplomatic dialogue,” he said during a press briefing in Tokyo. UK Prime Minister Jonathan Reynolds expressed concern over the deteriorating situation but stopped short of criticising Israel or the U.S., stating that “Israel has a right to defend itself” but adding that “all efforts must now focus on de-escalation and humanitarian access.” UN Secretary-General António Guterres issued his strongest statement yet, saying, “This war must end. Civilians are paying the highest price. The strikes on populated areas, hospitals, and civilian infrastructure violate international humanitarian law.” He called for an immediate ceasefire and announced plans to convene an emergency Security Council session. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu defended the strikes as “targeted operations” aimed at neutralising Iran’s nuclear threat. Speaking from a command centre in Tel Aviv, he said, “We will not allow Tehran to arm itself with nuclear weapons, and we will continue to act with full force until that threat is eliminated.” The statements follow a new phase in the conflict, after U.S. President Donald Trump declined to say whether the U.S. would join further strikes but warned Iran of “grave consequences” if it continues attacks on Israel or American interests.
