TV8 WXEX presents Inspiration.

Speaker 1

Do you have one overwhelming desire in life?

The psalmist says in Psalm 27, verse 4, "'One thing I ask of the Lord, that will I seek after, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to seek Him in His temple.'"

Is the one desire, the overwhelming desire of life, to know God, to seek after Him in His temple?

There are three ways that we can do this.

One very important way is when we're all alone in the inner closet.

There we can dwell in the temple of God.

There we can seek Him in His holy temple.

There we can realize that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.

also with that small group those intimate friends those supporters and helpers of ours we can be together with them and we can be in his temple and also in corporate worship on the lord's day as we gather with the church with the people of god there too we can seek him in his holy temple

Because the scripture also teaches that ye, the church, the local congregation, ye are the temple of God, and the temple of God is holy.

Let us desire that one thing in life.
