Welcome to another snowy journey on the world heritage listed Albula Railway, featuring 55 bridges and 39 tunnels, making it one of the most spectacular narrow gauge railways in the world. The centerpiece is the 5866‑meter Albula tunnel, located at 1820 meters above sea level, the second highest alpine tunnel in Switzerland. A new Albula tunnel is under construction beside the old one, set to replace it in the coming years. The Rhaetian Railway company operates the largest narrow gauge (1 m width) network in Switzerland. Gradients are displayed in the upper right corner in the same format as on the driver’s display, with arrows indicating direction and the promille value (1/10 %) shown. Station names, altitudes, tunnel and bridge names, lengths, and years of construction are also displayed, providing additional information to enhance the viewing experience.
