In this video, Shaykh Dr. Yasir Qadhi covers part 2 of the life of the famous companion Abdullah Ibn Zubayr [ra] and the various fitnahs/fitan (traumatic incidents) in his lifetime and era. The presentation, held on April 18, 2018 at the Memphis Islamic Center, is part of the "Lives of the Sahaba" series, where Dr. Qadhi discusses the lives of the noble companions—some of the greatest and most blessed human beings to ever live after the death of Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. While not a comprehensive history of the Khulafa Ar-Rashidoon, the series provides a summarized biography of the men and women considered to be the Sahaba, including the Mothers of the Believers (the wives of the Prophet).
