Well... I am honestly devastated and disappointed that we've been queerbaited. What the heck was going on with the writing in those last 4 episodes... just insane. Who would've thought that my first Byler video edit is basically canon now like yes, Mike Wheeler listening to "Good Luck, Babe!" and crashing out is so real. I'm sorry, Will Byers that you had to suffer over and over again and that your suffering and love for your best friend were used to prop up a straight relationship and that the love of your life has been reduced to a silly little crush by the writers. I'm sorry, Mike Wheeler that the writers chose to keep you in the closet forever, forced you through a heteronormative life path, made you end up all alone and miserable and reduced your character to be the main girl's boyfriend (who didn't even love her🤫). Personally I choose to believe that the show ended after 5x04 and I'm going to eat up a ton of fanfiction in the future. I still wanted to edit Byler from start to finish because that way I can kind of sort out my feelings/ find closure. I'll definitely keep on shipping Byler/ editing them so don't worry this account will not be abandoned. :) Despite everything that happened I hope you guys have an amazing start into 2026. I love our Byler community so much and I'm grateful I was on this journey with you guys. Let's stay on the Byler bus for life.
