简介:

A Rufous Sibia hangs upside down, plunders a wild Himalayan pear tree, and bites off big chunks of ripe small wild pear fruit. Known earlier as the Black‑capped Sibia, this bird, the 'Three Cheers' caller, is seen here at Jabbarkhet in the western Himalaya. The bird visits a fruiting Himalayan pear tree, providing a colourful burst of an autumn colour palette. Wild Himalayan pear trees blossom and proliferate at the Jabbarkhet wildlife sanctuary, feeding butterflies, bees, and birds with their flower nectar and fruit. The production plans to create an entire forest of wild pear trees someday.
