Bannon plays a newspaper reporter investigating six mysterious deaths; the six dead men were members of a jury that convicted a man to a death sentence. Because the convicted man had already been sent to the electric chair, the police are baffled as to the possible causes of vengeance. But Bannon, going on a hunch, discovers that the convicted man is alive.
