Youlgreave (also spelled Youlgrave) is a picturesque village located in the Derbyshire Dales, within the Peak District National Park in England. It is situated approximately 3 miles southwest of Bakewell and about 15 miles northwest of Matlock. Youlgreave has a rich history dating back to at least the 11th century, as mentioned in the Domesday Book. The village prospered during the medieval period due to lead mining, which was a significant industry in the region. The village’s most notable building, All Saints' Church, dates from the 12th century and features a mix of Norman, Gothic, and later architectural styles.
