On a derelict spacecraft far beyond the Sun, engineer Clark records his final log as gravity fails, oxygen runs out, and the ship's systems collapse. He describes the ship as a trap for a Teutonic crew, the generator humming beneath the hull, and the realization that something sinister lurks inside. As he walks the empty corridors, he hears echoes of footsteps and the horror that has taken root in the ship's metal and flesh. Despite the danger, he continues, hoping to survive the endless loop of failure. His last entry, addressed to Nicole, ends with the words 'I am going…' as the void of space closes in.
