The third season of the TV anime Jujutsu Kaisen, titled "The Death Parade: Prequel", will premiere in January 2026. The film "Jujutsu Kaisen: Tokyo Incident × The Death Parade" will be released worldwide in stages, debuting in a special edition as the series’ biggest scale fight. The first two episodes of the new season will be available worldwide before broadcast on TV and streaming platforms. Special sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu from Jujutsu Kaisen 0 will participate in the Death Parade, appearing as a death executioner and confronting Itadori’s sword. Both Itadori and Okkotsu, who share the same master, carry curses, and their intense clash of cursed power will be showcased in the film. The story revolves around curses and will be presented again in theaters.
