Two high‑school students, Marinette and Adrien, become Paris’ superheroes Ladybug and Cat Noir, each wielding a Miraculous that grants them powers. Their mission is to stop Hawk Moth, who creates dangerous supervillains to steal their Miraculouses, while juggling school life and secret identities. Marinette, a shy aspiring fashion designer, has a crush on Adrien and is supported by her best friend Alya, who often attempts to help her confess. As Ladybug, she uses her Lucky Charm to identify key objects to defeat villains. Adrien, a popular model, transforms into Cat Noir with his Kwami Plagg, and despite his love for Ladybug, his ego and cat‑themed jokes annoy her. Hawk Moth, a mysterious villain, manipulates people’s negative emotions to create akuma butterflies and seeks to steal the Miraculouses to gain power.
