After 3 months of my life and spending about 3x as much money as originally anticipated, recently I finished a personal project to make my own customised watch; it's what can be best described as a Purple Dial with mild glowing hour markers with complementing silver hands, sweeping on a smooth reliable Japanese kinetic automatic movement observed by glass with a bulging date window surrounded by a green and gold bezel. On another movement, hands, case, and a dial I never used, it cost me around £134 for parts for a prototype that I never kept as I wasn't satisfied with the end result, but after the prototype I made something that quite honestly made everything worthwhile, the engraving on the watch was done on a specialised machine, the fonts used on the engraving are US Block and Script.
