Robert Miles - Children (93:2 HD) /1995/

Robert Miles, born Roberto Concina on 3 November 1969 in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, is an Italian‑born Swiss producer, composer and pianist known for his work in trance, ambient and techno. Growing up as the son of Italian immigrants, he became a skilled pianist in his youth and entered the music scene in 1988, working as a DJ in Italian clubs before opening his own studio in 1990. In 1994 he wrote the iconic track "Children", which slowly gained popularity and, by 1995, sold over 30,000 copies in Europe, topping charts in several countries and earning platinum and gold certifications. The single was later re‑released in 2004 as part of a collaboration with Angel City and Ministry of Sound. Miles followed "Children" with the single "Fable" and his debut album "Dreamland" in 1996, which included the hit "One and One". He continued to release music, including the 1997 single "Freedom" from his second album "23am", and later albums such as "Organik" (2001) and "Organik Remixes" (2003). In 2004 he moved to Los Angeles, founded S:alt Records, and released the collaborative album "Miles Gurtu" with Trilok Gurtu.
