Traill's Pass is a high‑altitude Himalayan pass at an elevation of 5,300 m (17,400 ft) in Uttarakhand, India, situated between Nanda Devi East and West and linking the Pindari and Milam valleys. First reached by G.W. Traill in 1830, it was subsequently crossed by Hugh Ruttledge in 1926. The pass has proven treacherous, with more than ninety teams attempting it, but as of October 2021 only twenty had succeeded, the latest being a group from Uttarakhand in October 2021. Aerial footage captures the dramatic landscape of Nanda Devi and surrounding peaks.
