Ukraine: retired soldiers on the frontline | DW News

Russian forces are continuing their advance in Ukraine's southeastern Zaporizhzhia region. Much of Ukraine's military is stretched thin there - just as it is along other parts of the frontline. Even Ukrainians too old for regular military service are stepping up to fight. Among them, a unit of men in their mid-60s known as the ‘Steppe Wolves'.
