Based on the novel of the same name by Stanislav Lem, scientist Chris Kelvin is sent to a space station exploring the planet Solaris. Inexplicable events are occurring at the station: one of the staff members has committed suicide, and two others are close to insanity. Soon, Chris himself begins to feel uneasy—he sees people emerging from the depths of his memory. Most often, it's Hari, his wife, who committed suicide. What if this is the work of Solaris, extracting long‑dead people from the brains and materializing them? But to what end?
